Senior Quantity Surveyor

Elvet Recruitment have been appointed to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a leading residential contractor. Our client is a well regarded and established contractor who operate with a number of disciplines including commercial and residential. Responsible for a flagship residential development, you will be based in the North East with the flexibility and mix of working between site, home or in the office. Main duties will include: * Internal cost reports and CVR’s * Measurement and valuation of main contract accounts and subcontract accounts * Subcontractor procurement * Raising sales invoices * Payments to subcontractors * Issue and maintain correspondence and records To be considered, applicants must: * Working on building or civil engineering projects up to £10m in value * JCT Design and Build, NEC and Intermediate forms of contract * Preparing take offs and re-measures * Understanding the external valuation processes * Preparing internal cost reports * Understanding changes in design and consequences to time and cost * Working with wider teams from various stakeholders Please call Michael Dufferwiel at Elvet Recruitment to discuss in more detail
