Quantity Surveyor

Due to expansion, our client is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their fantastic team and grow alongside the business. The organisation is one of the UKs leading contractors in vegetation management, fencing, landscaping and ecology. Working out of either their Daventry or Boroughbridge depots applicants will need to be organised and capable of working on their own initiative to carry out scheduled works on a variety of sites, multiple projects and multiple clients. Location Midlands/Yorkshire and North East Salary and Benefits £47,500 per annum Monday - Friday Role Quantity Surveyor duties and responsibilities * Being the commercial point of contact for all customers * To produce the valuations for all works with operational managers and submit them in accordance with contractual obligations * Record, monitor and review the performance of all contracts * Secure payments from clients in accordance with contract terms * To ensue all commercial queries are dealt with in a timely manner to aid cash flow * Production and reporting of all commercial information required by Managers and Board * Travel to meetings with customers, clients and internal meetings essential Requirements Quantity Surveyor requirements * Quantity Surveying qualification essential * Good communication skills * Ability to work on own initiative * Responsible for managing cost and value and ensuring invoicing is completed * Working as a member of a larger team * Use or excel, work and project advantageous * Familiar with NEC forms of contract
