Plumbing Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Plumbing Engineer to join a Drainage contractor covering Reading and the surrounding areas on a permanent basis paying £25,000 to £42,000 per annum with the ability to increase this with overtime and out of hours. The successful Plumbing Engineer will be provided with a van, tools and uniform allowance. The Plumbing Engineer will be working within commercial buildings including retail, hotels, restaurants and banks. The Plumbing Engineer will be required to: * Carry our planned and reactive works for our commercial and residential customers * Fitting waste pipes in all materials such as cast Iron, plastic and copper * Test plumbing systems for leaks and other problems * Hot Water Cylinders * Analyse problem and identifies appropriate tools and materials for repair * Work alongside out drainage engineers to flush out blockages and repair pipes. Skills required: * NVQ Level 2 Plumber qualified to: NVQ L2 in plumbing Technical & portfolio (6129 or 6089) * or QCF L2 in plumbing - Technical & portfolio (6189) * or City & Guilds craft certificate in plumbing * Min 3 Years of Plumbing experience * Good knowledge of Hot and Cold water systems * Excellent customer service skills * Full driving licence * Preferable: water regs, un-vented cert. * Out of hour's works required at times Full job description is available on request
