Job Description
Workshop Manager - £35k - £40k plus company vehicle on offer - You will be responsible for a team of engineers who are maintaining the Company's fleet of construction plant machinery. You will continue to be hands on fixing excavators, dumpers, rollers, telehandlers and many other items of plant.
To be successful in this Workshop Manager role you will have recent management experience of:-
Engineers
Budgets
Health and Safety/Environmental Policies
A key part of this role is to develop your team, so strong leadership qualities within plant hire are essential.
Your professional attitude and communication skills will promote strong relationships internally and long term external repeat business with satisfied customers.
Job Role:
As the Workshop Manager, your remit will be to manage and utilise your network of workshop and mobile engineers, liaise with manufacturers and dealers regarding repairs to achieve customer satisfaction at all times
You will need to have strong technical knowledge of heavy plant machinery to ensure your team conduct their daily duties to the highest standards
To be successful in the role of Workshop Manager, you will need to have completed a recognised apprenticeship to NVQ level 3 with previous experience within the plant hire industry as a Plant Service Manager, Workshop Supervisor, Workshop Foreman, Service Manager or Depot Manager.
