Plant Maintenance Engineer

PERMANENT OPPORTUNITY, Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer required, Wellingborough based company, Monday to Friday Working. Excellent Salary. As a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for the mechanical and electrical maintenance of the site buildings and equipment. Main responsibilities will include Carrying our building maintenance and repairs as and when required Carry out checks on all plant equipment, including fault finding on electrical control panels and hydraulic systems. Ensure that electrical and mechanical safety procedures are followed in line with current regulations Ensure Health & safety Compliance of all maintenance carried out. Working with the Site Manager to create a routine maintenance schedule for all plant equipment including air and hand held power tools. Work in The ideal candidate will have previously worked in a similar role and have extensive knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance, be qualified to Level 3 NVQ / City in guilds or equivalent in Electrical and Mechanical engineering. Knowledge and experience of working with overhead gantry cranes and welding operations would be advantageous although not essential.
