Site Engineer

Position: Site Engineer Pay Rate: £265.00 - £325.00 per day (depending on experirence and/or own kit) Location: Winchester, Hampshire Project: Foundations and new slab for a residential development Site Engineer Responsibilities / Duties: You will be working for the groundworks contractor. You will be required to: * Organise weekly programme of works * Establish the level and survey control for contracts * Set out detailed works as per the contract drawings, ensuring checks are carried out on a regular basis * Quality Assurance * Ensure that records are accurate * Solve technical difficulties and assist with any problems that may arise Site Engineer Tickets / Qualifications / Skills: * Previous experience of a site engineer, setting out on civil engineering / groundworks * Sound knowledge of construction methods, health and safety, and legal regulations * Fully conversant with the use of robotic total station or EDM instruments * Degree qualified/HNC (or equivalent) in civil engineering (desirable) * CSCS * Experienced in AUTOCAD and MS Office
