Grounds Maintenance Operative

An opportunity to work for our client based in Sutton Coldfield as a grounds maintenance operative, working on sites such as new home developments, delivering a high standard of work to meet client standards. Dealing with clients and the public, you will become an ambassador for our client, working collaboratively with your team to achieve the best results. Your Time at Work - Hard and soft landscape maintenance such as slabbing, wood framing, grass cutting, pruning etc - Maintaining tools responsibly (cleaning, oiling and sharpening as directed) - Ensuring vehicles are secure and well maintained - Avoiding waste with innovative thinking - Working to risk assessments and COSHH assessments, reporting accidents and near misses and hazards Our Perfect Worker - Professional attitude - Innovative and self motivated - Ideally hold a CSCS card - Experience of working in a landscape/maintenance industry - Horticulture/spraying qualifications are desirable but not essential Key Information and Benefits - Hours of work 06:45-16:30 Monday - Friday, 42.5 hour working week - Competitive pay to match your benefits - Cycle to work scheme - Generous holiday allowance - Contributory pension scheme - Access to company benefits hub About Staffline Staffline is the biggest recruiter in the UK and Ireland, and we believe in putting people first.
