Due to continued growth and demand for the products, they are now looking to recruit a Factory Supervisor to join their team in Blackburn. Purpose of the role: * The Factory Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the warehouse staff and production operatives. This will include setting workloads and assigning tasks. * Conducting Quality Control checks and ensuring all the supporting administration is carried out efficiently. * Ensuring all Health & Safety policies and procedures are followed at all times. * Overseeing goods in / out and recording and processing damages etc. * Waste management. * Liaison with stores to ensure stock levels are maintained so that manufacturing is uninterrupted. * Excellent communication skills, with colleagues, subcontractors and customers. Their ideal candidate will already possess: * Experience on building projects or construction work. * Managing a team and meeting targets * A good understanding of deadlines and time management. * Previous experience in a factory setting. * A Health and Safety qualification. * Good IT skills. * Fork Lift Truck licence - ideal.
