Skilled Welders required: On behalf of our client, we are looking for nuclear welders, who can weld thin wall. The job is high integrity steel ductwork in materials Mild steel and Stainless steel-We are looking for candidates who are used to a culture of accountability and traceability of their work. The following qualities/experience are essential: • Welding of QC1 Stainless steel and mild steel Ductwork • Full fabrication of bespoke high integrity Ductwork components manufactured from Stainless and Mild Steel sheet thickness 2 to 3mm thick. • Welding operations qualified to BS EN ISO 9606-1:2017 • Strong work ethic with flexibility to work unsociable hours / nights / Weekends • Able to work on own initiative and seek out opportunities in line with level of responsibility • Must be a good team player, with strong communication and interpersonal skills • Understands the basic Company Protocols with regard to accidents and Incident’s investigations • Uncompromising approach to the implementation of safe systems of work • Where possible, adopts an innovative approach to enhancing safe systems of work • Awareness of Specification and other Contract documents • Understanding of manufacturing tolerances • Understands and implements the requirements of Inspection and Test Plans • Encourages ownership within the team and fosters a culture of Right First Time The following qualities/experience are desirable: • Solution orientated individual, with ability to analyse risks and benefits of options to resolve identified issues.
