£29,000 - £39,000 + Company van + 25 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays) (depending on skills and experience)

Due to an exciting time of huge business growth here at re:heat; we have new, excellent opportunities for experienced Pipefitters to support the installation and maintenance of our heating systems to ensure we provide world-class service across all sites and projects.
Responsibilities for these positions include –
* Installing and assembling a variety of pipework including steel, copper and stainless
* Cut and thread steel pipework using rigid pipe threader
* Connecting pipework utilising proprietary bracketing including ring clips or Unistrut systems
* Installing of all types of heat emitters
* Installations based on the interpretation of procedure specifications and engineering drawings
* Pressure test pipework as per regulations
* Installing new heating components, pipework repairs, hot and cold-water systems, maintenance, servicing, and fault finding of heating systems in commercial and industrial settings
* Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, to the satisfaction of customers, profitably, and to the highest industry standards
* Keeping abreast of legislative, safety, and general industry developments and ensuring re:heat complies with and capitalises on these
* Assisting with the development and implementation of company procedures and policies
* Complying with Health and Safety responsibilities
* Reporting progress against an agreed set of targets for delivery of duties to the Operations Manager and other re:heat staff as required
* Undertaking further training as and when required
The successful candidate will have–
* NVQ level 3 Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering (Pipe fitting)
* Experience of installing threaded steel pipework
* IPAF, PASMA and CSCS/JIB Gold Card (preferred)
* Experience in heating and water applications, piping fan coil units, radiators and boiler rooms
* Experience of interpreting P&ID’s and schematics
* Pipe welding experience is beneficial but not essential
* The ability to work to specific timescales and complete jobs within given timeframes
* The ability to fault find and where required carry out repairs and maintenance to equipment
* The ability to interpret engineering drawings
* Experience in working in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to provide a high-quality service
* Excellent communication, representational, persuasive, and negotiating skills
* Excellent people and customer management skills
* Confidence, energy, and commitment to excellence and quality with a bias for action
* Commitment to delivery to meet the needs of the business
* Willingness to work across the UK including where necessary overnight stays is essential
A full driving license is essential.
