ESTIMATOR

Our client is an established company that offers a range of architectural systems and products which include unitized and framed systems, curtain wall, windows and doors and are currently seeking an Estimator in their North West offices Duties: * To provide fully detailed quotations * Review all enquiries and where necessary distribute to the appropriate departments for further review. * Carry out thorough review of drawings / tender documentation to determine appropriate products to quote. * In conjunction with the Estimating Manager ensure that Planning is updated at all times, with links to completed quotes for ease of future retrieval. * Ensure that quotations are issued on time and in line with the timeframes outlined in the estimating planner. * Continually review quoted prices against the norm. * Ensure that quotation letter is fully detailed with the proposed company specification and appropriate discount. * Ensure that the quotations qualifications and clarifications accurately reflect the proposed company specification. * Review construction issue drawings against tender drawing to identify any value engineering opportunities Requirements: * Good technical knowledge of Curtain Walling products * The ability to read technical drawings, understand specifications and client requirements * Previous experience in a similar role * Computer literate with experience of Microsoft Office, Logikal and AutoCAD
