Senior Electrical Design Engineer

THE COMPANY * An expanding team of Engineers looking to grow experientially in their London office * The opportunity to work for a multinational award-winning consultancy * Excellent career progression with the option to move to the other offices * The work on a wide range of sectors including Healthcare, Residential, Commercial and Data Centre projects * Progression into MEP lead role can be done in 12 – 18 months, and roles at MEP level and above are generally filled internally * A real community culture has been cultivated and this normally results in weekly socials on Thursday evenings, with you being able to work from home on Fridays KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * As Senior Electrical Engineer you will be Liaising with, and the engineering teams to ensure projects meet expectations within the set deadline * Providing training and managing younger members of your team * Running a portfolio of projects * As Senior Electrical Design Engineer you will be assisting with design development and calculations on high value projects * You will be accurately creating technical drawings in accordance with client briefs using programmes such as Amtech and Dialux * Responsibility for undertaking electrical services design including lighting, small power, fire alarms, CCTV and security systems will be a big part of your role SKILLS AND BACKGROUND * 5 - 8 years Building Services (MEP) background either within a Consultancy * Degree qualified or equivalent in Electrical engineering or Building Services * Knowledge of UK Standards and Specifications * Commercial Experience * Experience liaising with clients and looking after a team * Experience of working on major projects would be advantageous If you are an Electrical Design Engineer within the Building Services industry and are interested in securing a long-term role with a very well established Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy in Central London, then please contact Ben Morrison at Aylin White
