Caretaker

We are currently looking for a Caretaker. You will be working in Barking & Dagenham Monday - Friday Shift times Temp Contract Pay rate - £12.48ph Main Duties Lock/unlock school buildings and areas with flexible working times to facilitate Governors’ meetings and other school events Assist with regular security checks Operate alarm systems where appropriate Assist with minor/simple repairs e.g. minor plumbing, changing light bulbs, unblocking drains, repairing door furniture Operation of heating plant, cooling and lighting systems Collect and assemble waste for collection To sweep the playgrounds weekly and to clear the playgrounds on a daily basis of litter and animal excrement Ensure the maintenance of a clean and orderly working environment Timely & accurate preparation of routine equipment/resources/materials as set out in instructions Undertake basic record keeping as directed Recruitment is done in line with safe recruitment practices. 4Recruitment Services is an equal opportunities employer.
