Geophysical, Positioning & Construction Job title: Survey Engineers (Offshore) Location: UK Based (anywhere) Salary & Package: £26,000 - £30,000 basic £130-£160 daily offshore rate (180 days) £55k+ total earnings p/a Job Type: Permanent Contact: (url removed) Company Profile: Multiple Senior / Survey Engineers are required on a permanent basis to join an international business within the marine industry, specialists in geophysical mapping & data analysis, subsea asset integrity investigations & maintenance, and field exploration for Oil & Gas drilling operations. A significant uprise in offshore project activity requires the company to take on a number of experienced surveyors from various disciplines; from 2D/3D mapping, subsea construction & ROV maintenance. Knowledge of Long Baseline (LBL) & Ultra-short Baseline (USBL) acoustic systems sought after, alongside other proficiencies. Principal Responsibilities: Ensure work is conducted in a professional manner and to the highest quality, with close attention drawn to health & safety practices and minimisation of environmental impacts. Adherence to project strategy and documentation, in accordance with company project management system. Preparation, testing, calibration & operation of land & hydrographic survey sensory equipment. Complete online surveys and monitor data quality ensuring it meets desired specifications, reporting non-conformances to team leaders and corrective action where possible. Acquire, analyse and present survey sensor data, preparing various reports on mobilisation & calibration. Maintain skills and development using various processing software and techniques, and utilising knowledge of offshore disciplines. Provide comprehensive handover notes, updating records of site-specific surveys. Comprehensive survey logs maintained during watch periods. Pro-active work ethic, engaging in new initiatives and campaigns, positive attitude towards self-development, identifying personal needs for training and highlighting to operations leader.
