Job Description

Fabric Engineer We are currently recruiting for a Multi skilled Fabrics Engineer to join our clients reactive maintenance team in the Midlands with occasional UK wide works. The successful candidate will work as part of the Mobile Support Team to carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Reactive and call out to all carpentry, building fabric, and retail engineering call outs. All successful candidates are required to be flexible in their approach to working hours due to the reactive nature of the business. This is a fast paced role due to the need to respond quickly to all callouts. We also operate an on call rota system which you will be part of A company maintained, van will be provided, along with company diesel card and iPad for completing daily tasks. You will also be provided with a full company uniform, masks, hand sanitizer, gloves and other COVID safe measures for working safely Key Responsibilities To work as part of the Mobile Support Team supplying carpentry/building fabric support and response engineering competency to external clients To carry out Reactive Maintenance and extra works/emergencies in accordance with the contract requirements on Services. To provide detailed reports when on site and carry out survey/audits. To provide a high level of technical and hands on support in the provision of our service delivery and the daily communication with our clients and office staff. Working as a key part of the Mobile Support Team, and key interface with Facilities Maintenance Clients. Adherence to set engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements. To ensure onsite Quality Assurance procedures are adhered to in all respects and to maintain accurate records/documentation. To respond in a prompt and effective manner to all reactive maintenance issues and help desk requests associated with roofing services and associated systems or items. Must be flexible with working hours to meet the needs of the clients. To respond to callouts and cover breakdowns and emergencies associated with the services aspects of the contract as required. Assist other trades as necessary. Skills and Experience Essential Joinery Qualifications Building fabric knowledge Able to lone work when safe to do so and work as a team Health and Safety Training CSCS card Full UK Driving Licence Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year DOE COVID-19 considerations: PPE and Government Guidelines
