Civils Estimator

Civil Estimator required in North Lincolnshire on a permanent. As an Estimator you will be working for a leading civil engineering company, you will be heading up the civil estimating department and be instrumental in the winning of work from key clients and principal contractors working. Your duties as an Estimator will be primarily be leading and coordinating all aspects of selected tenders, ensuring high quality and competitive proposals. Your key elements will be: Review tender documents and submission requirements, ensuring we evaluate all relevant information in the bid process. Liaison with the design, and other departments, to ensure that innovative, and most appropriate, solutions are produced. Ensuring that all identified risks are mitigated. Liaison with the Business Manager, and the construction teams, to ensure correct resources, productions are employed to deliver the projects. Preparations of cost plans, risk assessments, and risk mitigation's, in line with procedures. Preparation and submission of pricing documents and tender proposal in line with our client's requirements. Provide effective, and considerate, communications with our clients throughout, and post, the bid process. Willingness to attend meetings, and a professional image is essential. Ensuring that project operation, and the commercial team, have an effective handover on secured projects. Infrastructure and Utilities Groundworks & Mains Drainage Energy and Renewables Ports, Harbour and Sea Defence Work Carparking Public Realm & Leisure Highways Rail / Transport Industrial Mining & Quarrying 3 years estimating experience HND / BSc / BEng in Civil Engineering / Construction Management / Quantity Surveying desirable.
