Mechanical and Structural Design Engineer

A leading engineering company require an experienced Mechanical & Structural Design Engineer to join their team in Swindon. Mechancial & Structural Design Engineer * Responsible for the structural and mechanical design of structural systems * Create drawings for production that are accurate, cost-effective and easy to manufacture. * Produce plant layouts and diagrams suitable for project tender. * Effective and competent in the use of Solidworks. * Visit customer sites and survey existing structures. Mechanical and Structural Design Engineer Qualification and Experience Requirements: * Degree or other higher-level qualification in Mechanical or Structural engineering * Experienced in using CAD software * Experience working in a similar engineering environment designing structural and mechanical products Mechanical Structural Design Engineer Skill Requirements: * Able to organise and execute projects effectively * Responsible and able to manage potential risks * High attention to detail * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills * A supportive and cooperative team player * Able to lead by example and inspire others * Able to prioritise work and competing demands
