Trade Counter Supervisor

Simon Acres Recruitment are working with a well-established family-owned merchant based in Leicestershire, who are looking for a Trade Counter Supervisor. Offering a salary of £23,000k depending on experience. The Role: Driving sales and margin performance through add-on sales, promotions, and special offers Managing and supporting the development of counter sales employees Dealing with customer concerns - escalating issues to the Assistant Branch Manager and Branch Manager when required Ensuring all monies are processed efficiently and cash is all accounted for Following up non-collected orders to drive additional sales Giving advice to customers on materials and project needs General housekeeping Ownership and development of the branch shop including product/stock ordering, design, and layout This opportunity will be full-time, with genuine future prospects Monday to Friday (07.30am to 5pm) and mid-day (8am to 12pm) on an alternating Saturday basis Candidate Requirements: Experience within a timber or building materials environment (preferred) Providing outstanding customer service Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor Excellent communication and leadership skills Additional Benefits: Pension scheme In House training Recognised qualifications PERKBOX Free uniform Free onsite parking Simon Acres Recruitment are acting as the employment agency in relation to this vacancy
