Electrical Design Engineer - Building Services

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Electrical Building Services Design Engineer to join a leading and highly respected M&E Building Services contractor based in the Banbridge area who provide Mechanical and Electrical services from design through to installation and commissioning, with typical contract values ranging from £100k up to £3m. The Role:- The Electrical Building Services Design Engineer will assist in the preparation of electrical designs for commercial heating plantrooms and prefabricated products for the high-rise residential market to include, general power and lighting, boiler plants, CHP generators, circulation pumps, inverters and BMS control equipment etc. Working in conjunction with an established design team who operate with the latest AutoCAD & MEP 3D design packages. Key skills and experience required…. * Educated to HNC/HND level in Electrical/ Control Engineering or an equivalent relevant qualification * Minimum of one years’ relevant experience in design within building services * Experience of using Electrical Design Software * Knowledge of legislation, standards, safe working practices and environmental best practice would be desirable * Excellent communication skills both verbal and written * Excellent organisation, planning and attention to detail * Ability to work under pressure on own initiatives to achieve self and team target Salary and Benefits * Base salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (negotiable depending on experience) * Private Healthcare * Life Assurance * Excellent Pension Scheme * Company Events * Generous Holiday entitlement * The company also offer a very enjoyable working environment, as well as genuine career progression opportunities.
