Our client who work within the Aluminium Facade industry are looking to recruit a Technical Manager based from their offices in the North West region.
The role is Responsible for providing Technical product support to internal and external customers.
8 Direct reports including Technical Support Engineers, Training Manager, and Technical department
Duties:
Provide a Technical telephone helpdesk service to the dealership.
Attendance at-site meetings.
Offer back up support in the areas of site monitoring, site problem investigation, toolbox training and product testing.
Provide product information and capability guidance of all products and hardware to include advice on windloads, deadload, thermals and structural capabilities.
Evaluate product concession requests accepting or rejecting as required. Also ensuring accurate records are maintained.
Maintain warranty log and co-ordinate the requirements of the Full Product Warranty (drawing, fabrication and installation audits).
Advising on dealer details and interfaces with systems.
Ensure all measurement data is current and available. To include call logs, concession, and warranty data.
Attend CWCT/CAB technical committee meeting as required.
Support for internal and external training activities.
