Quantity Surveyor

BSS are currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor in Dublin to work on behalf of our client a Main Contractor that specializes in Commercial & Fit Out Projects . Responsibilities: Project procurement including issuing tender packages, preparation of tender reports and appointments in line with construction program Track project deliverables and ensure that commercial and administrative systems, budgets and cost control procedures are utilised Comparing tender and construction documents, advising of any changes and preparation of valuation for submission to sub-contractor Monitoring of project costs Preparing monthly reports Preparing, negotiating and agreeing final account. Provide and control strategy of commercial contracts with client's representatives Ensure all project team members (including site staff) understand contractual arrangements to meet Client and partner requirementsRequirements: Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline 7+ years' experience working as a Quantity Surveyor for Main Contractor in Ireland/UK Demonstrates commercial acumen - with advanced knowledge of the market and competition Good communication skills, both verbal and written Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
