Site Manager

Role: Site Manager Location: Oxford Contract type: Freelance Rate: £250 per day Start Date: 30/11/20 GVR Solutions are currently representing a national house builder who are seeking an Site Manager to work on a residential new build development in Oxford. Project: Residential New build development consisting of 95 new Traditional build homes. The development will consist of 3-5-bedroom houses, 1-2-bedroom apartments and will be a mixture of private and affordable housing. Duration: 2 year project Duties of the Site Manager: * Carry out inspections at various stages of the project * Ordering materials for works to be completed * Liaise with the NHBC and Housing Association to action remedial items raised, Meeting 100% compliance with current NHBC standards. * Implementing Site Safety, Health and Safety and Environment policies and procedures. * Managing site teams by monitoring performance against contract targets and instigating any necessary corrective actions. Site Manager requirements: * At least 2 years’ experience working on volume residential developments * Health and Safety focused * Strong communication skills * Can motivate and push trades on site * Be able to use your own initiative * Be able to complete tasks on time and to a high-quality standard * Familiar with NHBC requirements and regulations * Be able to snag list and finish to a high standard * A trades background desirable but not essential Qualifications: * SMSTS * CSCS (Gold/Black) * First Aid If you meet all the Site Manager requirements above, then please get in touch on (phone number removed) or scurran@gvr.solutions
