Job Description
A respected regional building contractor with a rich pedigree of delivering new build and refurbishment projects across central and southern England searching for a Quantity Surveyor/Senior QS.
Their portfolio includes work within the commercial, education, healthcare and industrial sectors with typical project values ranging from £500,000 to over £6 million.
Responsibilities;
- Preparing Tender and Contract documents
- Preparing Bills of Quantities
- Risk Management and Cost Control
- Sub Contractor Work Allocation
- Preparing Accurate Progress Reports
- Completed Work Valuations and Payments
Key Experience and Requirements;
- Minimum 3 to 5 Years Quantity Surveying experience.
- You will have experience of previously working within the same or similar role.
- Degree qualified (or moving towards professional membership) is preferable but not essential.
- New build, refurbishment and/or D&B exposure would be beneficial.
- Excellent communication/ team work capability.
- Computer literacy will also be essential.
- The role will be reporting to the commercial director.
