Quantity Surveyor - Major Project

My client is a World Leading Construction Company. They are currently seeking a number of Quantity Surveyors to work on a prestigious 5 year, £460m healthcare project on the island of Jersey in the Channel Islands. The ideal candidates will have a solid appreciation of Building Construction which could include RC Framed Buildings, Cladding, Mechanical & Electrical installations etc. Those that have worked on major healthcare and hospital projects would be of particular interest, as would those who have solid demonstrable experience of working for a top tier contractor. This is a project based role so those applying will need to be based primarily on the Island of Jersey for the contracts duration but will also benefit from the unique tax benefits associated with the island. We are looking to source Quantity Surveyors for the following packages; * Shell & Core * Hospital Fit Out * FF&E (Fixture, Furniture & Equipment) The successful Quantity Surveyors will have: * A relevant professional Quantity Surveying qualification or proficient management experience within the construction industry and ideally with a top tier contractor working on large construction projects. * Working knowledge of NEC 3 conditions of Contract. * Ability to undertake site measures when required. * Ability to work clearly and accurately under pressure and tight timescales. * Ability to demonstrate excellent communication and organisation skills. Ideally have experience of working on healthcare projects, hospitals etc
