Multi Trade Operative (Building / Domestic Maintenance)
Oxfordshire and Wiltshire - Field Based
£26,752 - £29,426 per annum – depending on skills
Contract type – Permanent
Working hours – Full Time

About the role
They are recruiting for seven full time Multi Trade Operatives to join their Trades team across Wiltshire and Oxfordshire on a permanent basis.
You will ensure properties are repaired and maintained to a high standard and will be responsible for carrying out repairs, improvements, surveys and measurements efficiently and economically in accordance with current working practices and all related health and safety legislation and good practice.
You will work in a professional, respectful and courteous manner and will deliver objectives and achieve behaviour competences.

About you
You must be qualified to City & Guilds or NVQ 2 level in Building Maintenance, Multi Trade repair and refurbishment operations or demonstrate equivalent trade experience. Previous experience of working within the social housing sector would be beneficial.
You will be required to undertake a range of routine and planned domestic maintenance repairs including the following trades: Basic Plumbing, Carpentry, Joinery, Painting/Decorating, Plastering, Wall and Floor Tiling and Roofing.
It is essential that you are able to ensure the safe and proper use of all mechanical and non-mechanical plant and equipment under their direct control.
You must have the ability to plan, prioritise and manage your own workload to achieve deadlines and be able to effectively use hand-held electronic devices.
Due to the nature of the role you will need to have a full driving licence - a company van and equipment will be provided.
