Senior Estimator

Network Construction Services are currently recruiting for an Estimator to work in the London office and cover Kent, Sussex and Wessex regions of Network Rail for a national civil engineering contractor, who has a well-deserved reputation in the marketplace as being dedicated to excellence in their respective fields. The ideal applicant will have previous experience within the Railway Sector, preferably in an Estimating role as well as the ability to identify commercial opportunities and risks whilst operating in a site based capacity. The candidate must be able to demonstrate knowledge of civils, structures and metallic structures. The ability to review and challenge tender prices and offer compliant alternative methods and/or products will be a distinct advantage. If successful with your application, duties in the role will include: * Working closely with all clients and proactively interact about new and existing pipeline and tender opportunities * Leading the pricing activities on multiple designated tenders on a first principles basis * Ensure that all tender packs are submitted in a full and timely manner, exceeded client expectations whenever possible * Successfully winning the requisite amount of work to meet the company’s targets and objectives In return for your hard work and commitment, the client can offer the following remuneration package: * Competitive Salary * Pension * Flexible working * Ongoing training and development This opportunity can either be on a contract basis, or as a permanent position.
