Electrical Estimator

Madisons Recruitment are actively recruiting for a client of ours based in St Albans. The company have been providing high quality electrical installation services on a wide range of commercial projects for over 25 years. Projects range from £50k to £2M, predominantly in commercial, education, healthcare, leisure and industrial sectors. Electrical Estimator · Up to £55,000 per annum, plus benefits and bonuses · Full or Part Time (Minimum 3-days per week). The successful candidate will have/be: * Proficient in Microsoft Office software, particularly excel spreadsheets. * Ensuring tenders are prepared to a high standard. * Proficient in material take off. * Experience within a similar position as an Electrical Estimator. * A confident communicator. * Electrical qualifications with an understanding of 17th &/or 18th edition electrical regulations. * 1-year minimum electrical estimating experience. * Happy to work on their own running multiple estimating projects concurrently. * Professionalism to liaise with the sub-contract supply chain and wholesalers to obtain competitive and accurate quotations in line with electrical project specifications. * Confidence to liaise with the company Commercial Director and Contracts Directors to discuss bid strategies. * Design & build experience (beneficial, not essential) * Knowledge of an estimating software package (beneficial, not essential)
