Senior Technician

Crest Nicholson South West have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Technician to join the team. You will support the Technical Manager. Assisting and overseeing technicians within the team to maintain the existing ranges of house type designs. To assist in the production of new and existing national house type ranges, development of specifications and standard details to be used throughout the Group in our regional offices. Key Responsibilities * Provide technical support and information to Construction, Commercial and Sales departments and maintain good communication to ensure the required level of service is maintained. * Update existing House Type ranges with recommended or required improvements. * Maintain good understanding of Building Regulations and construction issues that affect Crest Nicholson. * Ensure relevant and up-to-date experience / knowledge of CAD and BIM is maintained through Personal Development. * Attend meetings with external consultants and suppliers as required. * Review and improve existing construction details. * Comply with responsibilities as laid down in the Group’s Health, Safety and Environment Policy. * At all times comply with company policies, procedures and instructions. * Obtain and check information from external architectural consultants, and suppliers and manufacturers for supplementing working drawings. * Give consideration to C.D.M Regulations * Carry out site visits to inspect house types and discuss construction issues. * Ensure updated drawings are issued in accordance with department procedures.
