Design Manager

Design Manager role - Residential Developer - Central London - £70-75K plus package Blayze Group are currently partnered with one of the UKs top developers to help them find a Design Manager for a landmark scheme in Greater London. This residentially led mixed use project will comprise nearly 2000 homes, a large public realm with various amenities and new build offices on its completion. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative, driven and well organised individual to make a significant impact on a key part of the business. Key responsibilities will include: Management of Technical Managers and Coordinators on your part of the project Overall relationship responsibility with external consultants from briefing through to the issue of production information to an agreed programme Overseeing the warranty provider and building regulations applications for approval Preparation of Health and Safety plans Monitoring and controlling production information in close liaison with the Development Estimator Attend site progress meetings and carry out site inspections Respond to site queries and resolution of any technical or construction items that may ariseThe successful candidate will come from an Architectural or Construction Management background and be able to show an excellent technical knowledge of both residential and commercial construction, along with a degree of flair for design.
