Maintenance Engineer

Blade Recruitment is currently recruiting for a high profile Client, based near Highgate Station in London. The job is for a Maintenance Engineer for a large Grade II listed property, that goes beyond what is expected of a 5 Star hotel. This is a sought after job role & comes with excellent working conditions and benefits, the hours are M-F 9-5 & the salary is up to £38k + Benefits. Job Duties * Working within a team & responsible for the upkeep of the property. * Responsible for preventative planned maintenance & reactive maintenance of Plant & Equipment. * Duties include fault finding, service and repairs to plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC & building fabric. * The Maintenance Engineer would be required to attend to any other ad hoc duties to maintain this prestigious high end property. Job Requirements * The ideal Candidate would be from a 5 star hotel background & be suited & booted and groomed to the standards expected in a 5 star environment. * Discretion and professionalism is key in this role as visitors could include Royals or Celebrities. * The Ideal candidate would have worked in a previous position as a maintenance engineer position, in Hotels or in a 5 Star Environment & live local to the site in highgate London. * Ideally the Maintenance Engineer would have experience with LTHW systems, air-conditioning systems and heat pumps and ideally hold a relevant mechanical, refrigeration or electrical qualifications or ideally, a trade qualified Electrician.
