Job Description
We are actively seeking an Opertions technician to join a busy fire protection business based in Winchester, the ideal candidates will have excellent IT skills, be able to assist and prepare proposals for clients as well as supporting the surveying team in other aspects of client needs and expectastions
Operations Technician
* Report Writing – Digesting evidence taken from surveyor & interpreting into written report with photographic evidence and recommendations in line with building regulations and government guidance.
* Operations Admin – Maintaining and organising operations filing structure. Ensuring surveyors are uploading all appropriate information in the correct locations.
* Managing external resources – Communicating with external engineers, engaging with fire engineers for completion of EWS1 forms etc…
* Liaising with clients – Communicating with clients over progress of works and submitting completed reports with recommendations for remedial actions
* Conducting Survey – Occasionally conducing survey’s of buildings on site as overflow/cover resource. Occasionally being required to travel longer distances and stay away from home. (all expenses & accommodation provided)
* Full training and support provided for knowledge of building regulations & surveying procedure
