Operations Technician
Working for a small fire safety company this is an excellent opportunity for an enthusastic, IT literate individual to work as part of the small fire protection team.
* Report Writing – Digesting evidence taken from surveyor & interpreting into written report with photographic evidence and recommendations in line with building regulations and government guidance.
* Operations Admin – Maintaining and organising operations filing structure. Ensuring surveyors are uploading all appropriate information in the correct locations.
* Managing external resources – Communicating with external engineers, engaging with fire engineers for completion of EWS1 forms etc…
* Liaising with clients – Communicating with clients over progress of works and submitting completed reports with recommendations for remedial actions
* Conducting Survey – Occasionally conducing survey’s of buildings on site as overflow/cover resource. Occasionally being required to travel longer distances and stay away from home. (all expenses & accommodation provided)
* Full training and support provided for knowledge of building regulations & surveying procedure etc
