Development Manager

Required Background: Housebuilding Two opportunities for driven individuals to join one of the UK’s leading housebuilders. Responsibilities to include: • Appoint the project team, including architect, town planner and design consultant team • Work with commercial team to develop construction programming and sequencing • Work with cost planning team, monitor budgets and undertake value engineering when necessary Key Attributes: • Experience managing the acquisition of residential and mixed use sites • Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise work effectively and drive a development programme. • Excellent communicator (both written and verbal) porting on the performance of developments with monthly updates submitted to the divisional board Key attributes: • Capable of conceptualising projects and managing the delivery of the key stages • Excellent leadership, communication and project management skills • Pro-active style and drive, coupled with a real commitment to consensus and team work • Hold a recognised degree or appropriate professional degree • An ability to priorities and delegate as appropriate, to ensure all aspects of the job are completed to standard and on time
