Job Description

Reactive Maintenance Supervisor Fareham £30-34K Summary of Role Workshop Recruitment’s client are looking for a supervisor to provide fabric maintenance and void repairs to residential buildings in Fareham. The principle works will be kitchen fitting, wet rooms and bathroom fitting. Your role will involve managing work being carried out by directly employed operatives and sub-contractors. You will be responsible for ensuring quality standards, company values and value for money are met at all times. Key Activities Scoping out void and occupied properties in accordance with company process Liaising with tenants and clients on a regular basis Maintaining and collating correctly filled in paperwork for on-site purposes Booking in sub-contractors in line with programme Offer guidance to on-site operatives and manage sites under your control Carry out health and safety audits and quality checks Knowledge Required A full understanding of Building Regulations and Approved Codes of Practice Knowledge of working methods, practices, procedures, processes, legislation and regulations Understanding of Health & Safety at Work Act and Construction Design Management Qualifications Required NVQ2 or equivalent in a trade skill IOSH (desirable but not essential) Scaffold Inspection Course (desirable but not essential) First Aid Trained – 3 day (must be willing to do this if not qualified already) Full UK driving licence Experience Required 5 years’ experience of working in a building maintenance environment 3 years’ experience of working at Supervisory levels Experience working with bathrooms, kitchens and wet room fitting
