General Foreman - Civils - Northampton

Our client are a leading award winning civil engineering contractor with a diverse project capability spanning highways, river and marine projects UK wide. Working from a strategically placed network of offices due to controlled growth they are recruiting a General Foreman to manage highways/infrastructure projects up to £10m in value in Northamptonshire and the home counties. The General Foreman will be responsible for: * Labour management and allocation * Purchasing materials * Hiring plant and equipment * Management of direct labout and subcontractors * Toolbox talks and bulletins * Carrying out health and safety checks To be considered you'll have a background in a similar role with a recognised civil engineering contractor. Due to controlled growth in the region opportunities will arise for career progression.
