Job Description

Asset Manager – Housing Association - About The Role:

  • Develop and deliver the Asset Management Strategy and the strategic direction for property maintenance, supporting business growth and ensuring value for money, sustainability and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop the planning, delivery and profiling of the 30 year stock investment forecast and 5 year investment programmes balancing whole life cost and risk, whilst ensuring mandatory Health & Safety and regulatory standards are met.
  • Responsible for the development and production of finalised 1 and 3 year capital investment programmes for the organisation’s portfolio at individual property level.
  • Ensure that the information, systems and processes relating to the organisation’s stock are robust, meet best practice and support effective decision making.
  • To ensure the programme of asset management is well connected with internal teams, ensuring high levels of communication leading to smooth delivery.

Asset Manager – Housing Association - What You Need:

  • Knowledge of current building policy and practice, including Decent Homes Standard and Best Practice in stock condition surveys/refreshment strategies.
  • Experience of working within a property maintenance department.
  • Business acumen and commercial awareness with a proven ability to understand complex financial information and the impact on Business Plans.
