Bid Writer --------- Bid Writer, Bid Coordinator, Proposals Manager Job Title: Bid Writer Salary: Circa £45,000 - £50,000 (Negotiable) Location: Cardiff Area Acorn is representing a fantastic company who undertake work in both the private and public sectors of construction! This well-established construction company cover a broad range of projects for their clients in education, retail, health and social housing, covering areas of construction such as new build and refurbishments. This company are looking for someone who can hit the ground running with capabilities of being able to carry out PQQ's, Technical Submissions, Organisation Charts and more. Ideally our client would prefer a Bid Writer, but they are open to Business Development Managers who are willing to carry out the above and below responsibilities along with the Business Development. Responsibilities and Essential Experience Include: * Educated to degree level * Bid Coordinator, Submission Coordination, Bid Writing or Bid Management experience * Sound knowledge of Construction and current Building Regulations * MCIOB or MRICS qualified (desirable) * Estimating, Commercial, Project Management Qualification (desirable) * Excellent communication, IT and organisation skills * 3-5 years plus in the same or similar role * Strong IT skills Due to the vast amount of applications that we receive, it is not possible for us to contact all applicants, therefore if you have not heard from us within ten working days then unfortunately your application has not been successful on this occasion, however we will register your details for consideration against future opportunities.
