Estimator / Scheduler

Are you a methodical individual who can work to tight deadlines with knowledge and experience of bespoke fire doors and joinery manufacturing? My clients are currently looking for an enthusiastic, experienced estimate/scheduler to join a dynamic established manufacturing company that is continuously growing and expanding. As an Estimator / Scheduler you role will involve: Prepare tender bids for contracts with Local Authorities, Public and Private clients Interpret client drawings and schedules into a format for manufacturing Manage contracts from order to final delivery Produce an agreed schedule of the client's requirements Ensure requirements are fully understood by both parties- technical issues, lead times agreed, delivery requirement Order appropriate ironmongery and materials for specific scheduled jobs To be considered for this role: Enthusiastic and punctual Good level of Maths and English Excellent communication skills Estimating and scheduling experience in joinery and manufacturing Be able to pay close attention to detail and have a methodical attitude to ensure accuracy Be able to read architect designs and schedules Put client drawings and schedules into a format for manufacturing The hours of work are Monday - Thursday 8.00 - 5.00 and 8.00 - 2.00 Clayton Group is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy
