Cad Engineer / CAD Technician - Fire Sprinkler

THE COMPANY Due to continued growth, our client is now seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler CAD Engineer / Designer to join their team on a permanent basis. THE ROLE We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a strong and proven background in fire sprinkler design. You will be designing, calculating and proposing fire safety solutions to clients on both small and large scale projects whilst adhering to the required BS and building regulation. The position will also involve Project managing, surveying and tendering. This vacancy will be well suited to someone with a strong in depth knowledge of the Fire safety industry and has the drive to push and grow the division as well as their personal career. THE CANDIDATE - Preparation of AutoCAD/Revit layouts (candidates with other CAD software experience are welcomed to apply) - Prepare design packages for various RIBA stages - Tendering - Liaising with clients and assist technically in the resolution of design problems - Project Managing live contracts - Liaising with other departments - Knowledge of British design standards and building regulation This is a great opportunity to join a company that puts its people first and at the heart of their business.
