General Foreman - Heavy Civils

Job Title: General Foreman Project: Multiple Heavy Civils projects My client, a highly reputable, busy Contractor is looking to recruit an exceptional General Foreman to deliver, manage and Control all operations on Site, as well as the Site team on a number of small to medium sized Heavy Civils schemes across Northampton. Duties: Carry out site inductions an toolbox talks Assist in managing HSEQ on Site in accordance to company legislation's and policies Understand method statements and risk assessments produced and issued for the works and ensure the workforce understand this Assist / Manage the efficient mobilisation of resources on site Read and understand drawings and specifications Enforce company policy on PPE Manage workmanship / quality of work by direct labour and subcontractors Requirements: Hands on experience as a General Foreman Excellent knowledge and track record of Health and Safety on site Heavy Civils experience is a must Comprehensive understanding and experience of a wide range of construction techniques and best practices Relevant training and must hold current CSCS / SMSTS Card Ideally holds: NVQ Level 3, NRSWA, Temporary Works Supervisor, First Aid, Lifting, IOSH
