Architect

We are recruiting for an Architect to join a successful and growing architectural practice based in Barnstaple, North Devon. This is a great opportunity to join an architectural practice of 13 who have seen a rapidly expanding order book. They have recently taken on an Architectural Technician and they now require an Architect to join their architectural team. The practice works on a variety of public and private sector residential and commercial projects across the South West. As a company, they have a mixture of Architectural staff with different skillsets and backgrounds. The company uses Revit and it would be advantageous to have experience with this software. They are also a keen believer in virtual reality and see this developing within the company. The Role: Architect * Running and managing your own projects * Assist and help within the busy architectural office * Strong focus on detailing * Designing with passion and with a keen interest in the local environment * Use Revit and work on virtual reality The salary for this position ranges from £30,000-£36,000 depending on previous experience. For the right person, there is the chance to be able to work at home on an ad-hoc basis however the client would prefer you to be based in the office.
