Contracts Manager, Architectural Metalwork

Contracts Manager - Architectural Metalwork - London Core Group are currently looking to speak with Contracts Managers with Architectural and Structural steelwork experience. Please only apply if you have experience with Architectural and Structural steelwork. The responsibilities and experience required: • Experience with architectural metalwork (balconies, balustrades, glass, handrails) and secondary steel work is vital. • Excellent knowledge and ability to read structural drawings • Programming and Planning the Projects • Negotiating with client, suppliers and sub-contractors. • Organise Plant, Labour and Materials in order to deliver projects. • Take part in and lead meetings of a technical and commercial nature with clients, suppliers and colleagues. • Ability to coordinate the Design, Production & Installation of Projects • Ability to communicate with clients and manage site teams/engineers • Ability to manage a team of site managers and project managers, making sure projects are running smoothly and completed successfully. • Ability to communicate with the company buyers, surveyors and workshop on a daily basis. • An excellent attitude to work, able to solve problems and deal with staff of all levels Qualifications Needed: - CSCS Card (Ideally Black Card) - SMSTS or IOSH advantageous. - A good knowledge of construction methods and materials - Valid Driving License (Cat B) Package: -Permanent employment working 40-50 hours per week. -Salary is negotiable and dependant on experience and qualifications
