Assistant Estimator

Assistant Estimator Permanent Cornwall We are seeking an Assistant Estimator to join a progressive construction company, working with the pre- construction team to assist with pricing and quotation of works, both locally and further afield. You will join a small but knowledgeable team and work closely with the commercial side to assist with pricing and putting together quotation for a variety of projects. The role will involve: ascertaining sub-contractor prices, taking measurements from drawings, costings and collating information to put together tenders and quotations. The role is very ‘number focused’ so a good level of numeracy and an attention to detail is key, along with good IT skills. Ideally you will have worked in a similar environment with some construction knowledge although not essential, a practical approach and lateral thinking is key On offer is a salary Circ £25,000 and the opportunity to work with a forward thinking growing contractor who pride themselves on delivering a reliable and quality service to its extensive client base.
