Job Description

The role We are now looking for an Administrator/Document Controller responsible for all administrative functions on the project and to assist both the commercial and operational departments. The role will be site and office based and therefore travel is essential. Key accountabilities Document control Ensure that all documents are well checked and submitted on time prior to the documents submission due date Ensure that documents do not have typographical errors and other types of errors that may lead to the disqualification of a document assure that all documents are kept in the right place and in the right department file archive Ensure that quality is maintained to avoid operational problems Maintain and accurately update information in the electronic document management system Assist and guide the project team in the utilising the electronic data management system and document management process Ensure that all documentation, drawings and specifications are up to date and at the correct revision. Ensure that the document management process is applied through to between project teams or transition to operations Any other duties to ensure the office operates efficiently. To assist in the compilation of various commercial reports.Skills & experience Educated to O/GSCE Level standard or equivalent including English and Maths Previous secretarial and/ or administrative experience Excellent communication skills including written English. Excellent IT skills including; Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, E-Mail and Internet Excellent telephone manner. Ability to use initiative. Discretion and confidentiality. Time Management skills.
