Firestopper / Passive Fire Installer

Fire Stoppers, North West Temporary to Permanent £150/day (8hrs) Our client, a leading passive fire protection organisation, require experienced fire stoppers to carry out fire protection works to social housing properties and sheltered accommodation around the Liverpool, Manchester and Cheshire areas. Duties will include batt & mastic penetration sealing, cavity barriers, installing/inspecting fire dampers, installing fire rated partitions/fire curtains. You will have comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of fire stopping procedures and products, including, batt, mastic, fire seals & cavity barriers. You will have the ability to read technical drawings and be a clear communicator to liaise with the site team and your supervisor. It is likely that you will be required to work in a customer facing environment and as such, we require someone who is polite, presentable and carries themselves in a professional manner at all times. On occasion, you may be asked to work out of normal working hours where necessary The position will be temporary for a period of 12 weeks before being made permanent, at which point a van, fuel card will be supplied as well as other benefits associated with permanent employment. You will have a minimum of 2 years fire stopping experience, CSCS, own transport, NVQ2 Passive Fire Protection (Fire Stopping) and ideally FIRAS accreditation, Pasma and IPAF
