Senior Compliance and Enforcement Officer

Senior Compliance and Enforcement Officer required ASAP based in Basingstoke. This role is an ongoing temporary contract. The purpose of the role is to deliver an effective enforcement and compliance service covering all unauthorised developments relating to the planning acts and to ensure that development is carried out in accordance with approved plans and conditions. Main responsibilities include: Identifying and investigating complaints Preparing delegated and committee reports and recommendations Providing the necessary evidence to the Borough solicitor Provide advice and manage a casehold of high hedge enquires and planning applications and related appeals Required Qualifications: Planning or Planning enforcement Qualification / Technical membership of the royal town planning institute.
