Senior Site Engineer

Position: Senior Site Engineer Salary: £54,500 - 64,500 + Car / Car allowance + Pension + Health Region: North West London Industry: Construction My client is seeking a Senior Site Engineer to be based on a multi-million pound mixed-use scheme in North West London. The organisation is a main building contractor who has a reputation in delivering high quality schemes ranging from £30M to £150M in value. The company carry out work across all sectors; however their reputation is strong in the sectors of Commercial/ Education/ Mixed-use & Residential. This company offers a good salary and benefits and has a strong forward order book; the business is well respected and has proven sustainable success As the senior site engineer, you'll need to: Be temporary works trained Be degree qualified, ideally in civil engineering Boast vast RC frame experience Act as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, craftspeople and operatives Oversee the setting out, level and surveying of the site Check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations Ensure that all materials used and work performed are in accordance with the specifications Oversee a team of 3/4 site engineers Manage, monitor and interpret the contract design documents supplied by the client or architect Liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project Plan the work and efficiently organise the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines Prepare reports as required Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
