Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor - West London - Circa £40,000 salary + Car The Company You’ll join a successful and fast growing medium sized utilities contractor (circa £35 million turnover) with a strong presence in the South of England. They work in several sectors including telecoms, power, civil engineering and infrastructure. The Role You’ll be responsible for quantity surveying a HV cable laying project in Ruislip. This is a site based role and initially you will only be working on this project. After this project finishes you will work on a telecoms framework they have and be responsible for multiple projects. Responsibilities: * Quantity Surveying power and telecoms projects (usually NEC3 or NEC4 type contracts) * Producing weekly and monthly cost variance reports (CVRs) * Manage your own supply chain and take responsibility for cash flow * Recording and submitting any variations * Approving payments Required Skills and Experience * Experience working as a QS in the utilities industry * Solid understanding of NEC3 contracts Benefits: * £40,000 * Company Car
