Premises Project Manager

Futures Recruitment Services are recruiting for there client who is seeking a premises project manager. This role will be based at Cambridge with travel required across all sites in Cambridgeshire. * 13 weeks initially/project work * 37 hours per week About the job: As a Premises Project Manager for Cambridgeshire County Council, you will manage a programme of projects for alterations, improvements and churn in Cambridgeshire County Council office premises in Cambridgeshire. As a Premises Project Manager to the council you will: - Co-ordinate in-house and out-sourced specialists, consultants, contractors and suppliers, using CCC Framework Contracts, including small power and IT installations, access control, security and fire systems, furniture installations etc. - Attend project meetings and manage property projects, including project planning, reporting, communications, variations, stage payments, practical completion and handover and manage Soft Landings for new premises. Qualifications/Experience: Previous experience at FM Project Manager with space planning knowledge, move management experience and the ability to manage related minor construction works is required. The successful applicant will have good knowledge of FM and Building Compliance, Health & Safety, Building Regulations and general construction, together with IT and AutoCad skills to keep accurate records.
