They employ 65 members of staff and work across a number of different sectors, including; Education, Health, Leisure, Retail & Food, Hotels, Student Accommodation, Heritage, High end residential, Manufacturing and Prisons. They invest heavily in the upskilling of all of their staff and as such, have excellent retention rates (10 – 40 years) and a very motivated and driven workforce. Through growth, they are now looking to recruit for the following role. THE ROLE: As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the detailed design and coordination of mechanical solutions including Heating, ventilation & air-conditioning systems (HVAC), Domestic water systems, Gas systems, Above ground drainage systems. Additionally, you will be responsible for a range of projects from varying market sectors, with services being provided from inception / feasibility to detailed co-ordinated construction working design. Project types include: • CAT A & B office fit outs • BREEAM • SKA Rating • LEED • WELL Building Standard THE PERSON: To be considered for this role, you need to have a good understanding of the Mechanical Design within a Building Services Consultancy or Contractor. As this is a senior position within the company, you should have at least 5 years experience working within this type of role and be comfortable designing and co-ordinating for industrial and commercial buildings, as well as working with other teams within the company.
